1. Who we are

DTT Ireland RU is an educational Android app that helps users prepare for the Irish Driver Theory Test using English questions with Russian translation. The app is published by Smaragaid Apps.

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

• Usage data inside the app – such as which questions you practise, your scores in mock tests and general progress statistics. This data is stored locally on your device and is used only to display your progress.
• Device and technical data – Google Play and Google services may collect information such as device model, operating system version, crash logs and general analytics to improve stability and performance.
• Contact information – if you choose to contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any other details you include in your message.

The app does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to enter your name, address or payment card details inside the app.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• to operate and improve the app and fix bugs;
• to understand how users interact with the app in aggregate (for example, which sections are used most);
• to respond to questions or support requests that you send to us.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your data to build marketing profiles.

Our app is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy, including crash reports and anonymised analytics.

If we use additional third-party tools (for example, analytics or crash-reporting services), they will only receive the minimum information needed to provide their service to us and will be required to handle that information securely.

Progress data (such as your answers and scores) is stored on your device. If you uninstall the app or reset your device, this information may be deleted.

Any data stored by third-party providers (such as Google) is protected according to their own security standards. While no system can be completely secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information under our control.

6. Children’s privacy

DTT Ireland RU is intended for learner drivers and other users preparing for the Driver Theory Test. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
